Mr. Grover's expertise in human resource leadership, strategy, planning, implementation, engagement & sustainability at multiple levels of the organization has been widely recognized. His active involvement in plantlevel assignments such as handling strikes and De - Registration of Union, Gheraos or downsizing over 700 Blue collared & white collared employees (without a single hour loss) to being officiating Unit Head of Federal Mogul, has provided businesses with a unique practical perspective on how to lead and nourish a business's most valuable asset—its human capital.

In his most recent engagement with the $3.5 billion & 27,000 employee Welspun group, where he worked for over 10 years, he has particularly been credited with building a culture of Performance Management with specific emphasis on giving constructive Feedback – this was covered by media - (www.livemint.com/Leisure/P4DdF8iOh1zG19lY2ojodM/Reviewing-the-review.html).He was also instrumental in revamping the Talent Management function by ensuring real Training needs are assessed & training attendance is improved from less than 50% to over 85%. Improvement in Employee Engagement satisfaction score to over 88 % in the Textile vertical, having over 18000 employees. Besides this, he introduced psychometric Tests & BEI in Talent Acquisition. In the Talent Development space, he initiated Succession Planning exercise for the N-1/2 levels in a structured manner. Mr. Grover spearheaded the successful cultural integration of two acquisitions, one of them an Aditya Birla Group company, with the parent group. His HR, OD, and employee engagement initiatives are custom-built business environment (evolution-stage and need-based) solutions rather than one-size-fits-all quick fixes.

In the CSR space, he was responsible for running 8 Women Empowerment Centers in the Kutchh region comprising of 250+ women, working with over 60 Govt. schools with 42 para teachers to improve the quality of education with the help of smart classes, Adult Education Centers, Balwadis, Mobile Health Vans, Micro Finance and Rags to Rugs Center. Besides this, he was looking after two CBSE affiliated schools having 2500+ students and over 120 teaching staff. He has helped bringing in quantifiable objectives to the area of CSR in the Group.

He was awarded the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s Medal for his contribution towards CSR. He was also responsible for setting up of a Skill Development Center under NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation, to train freshers as per Govt. guidelines and to claim monetary rewards for Welspun Group. For his overall contribution, Mr. Grover was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation, the group’s highest recognition of employee performance, by Group Chairman Mr. BK Goenka. He was a member of the Gujarat government’s Committee on Technical Education & also headed CII – western Region Committee on Waste Management.

Mr. Grover is an MBA from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and a Post Graduate in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Chandigarh. Mr. Grover is a Certified Assessor and a trained Predictive Index & Thomas Profiling (psychometric tests) Analyst. He has been on Korn Ferry’s panel of Assessors. He has been trained by Prof Wayne Brockbank of the Michigan Ross School of Management, USA.
